That seems to work for 110, but what about 220? And weird plug layouts.
What about those?

Dave,

For less than $30 you can get the definitive answer for YOUR 170...
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00009MDBU/103-1991625-4474258

I just ordered one yesterday to size a UPS for several "servers" we have
laying around here, showed up today (I love Amazon Prime) and you just
plug it into the wall and the device(s) into it. Will tell you exactly
what the power usage is.

Set confusion *ON.

I'm looking for someone to change my confusion flag....

We have a 170 with a UPS that's gone bad. We can't get replacement
batteries for it, so we have to get a different UPS.

Last time I attempted to get the power requirements for a system, it was
like going down a rabbit hole (or whole,) that ended up having more
turns and twist than I could examine.

So, would someone please "Set confusion *OFF" and tell me where to find
the power requirements for a basic 170 so I can tell the guys asking me?

Thank you for your patience and consideration,

Dave
