I understand what you are saying. However, there are somethings about DB2
that are a bit shaky. And IBM has been known to ask me to send in the DDL
used to create a file. At that time the file is so corrupt that I can't
save it and ship it off to them. This was one of those files that I
quickly built on the fly and did not keep the DDL around. So that pmr was
never resolved successfully.
Hey, had another damaged file (IBM file). Well, with our power problems
lately who'd figure? Anyway, this was the resolution:
ENDTCPSVR *DIRSRV
CLRLIB QUSRDIRDB
STRTCPSVR *DIRSRV
File LDAP_ENTRY was damaged. And I am not really using IBM's ldap. So
this worked. IBM would have preferred I restore the ldap (even better,
export it and import it). But this process rebuilt the file.
