Create an entry with the name of the system. Someone probally changed
the entry on the old system from serial number to system name. Write
down the existing entry and then delete it and create the new local
entry with the new name. You can go back if need be easily.

Subject: SQL0114 & WRKRDBDIRE
We have recently moved from on Iseries to another. When our users try
to use some Excel spreadsheets they were getting the SQL0114 error.
After a search on the archives I found a few entries concerning the
WRKRDBDIRE command.
The current entry is the serial number of the machine. I tried adding
an entry with the IP ADDR of the machine and 127.0.0.1 the loop back
address. Neither worked and I couldn't add another local entry.
I'm hesitant to change the existing entry because I don't know what
effect it would have on my machine.
