Re: FTP'ing to external url

It sounds like your iseries cannot resolve the host name you were given.

Check in CFGTCP option 12 and see if you have a DNS server(or two) defined.
Check with your network folks to make sure you get a good DNS server 
address.
You might also check your PC's network settings for a valid DNS address.
