There is also an LPR/LPD tool available from Microsoft. It has to be explicitly
installed. I have seen it included on install media. Since installed CDs are
not as common, it may also be available as a download from Microsoft.

Quoting Carl Galgano <cgalgano2@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>:

Are you using the BARCODE keyword in your PRTF or are you generating the ZPL
code to drive the zebra? I have used this printer using the TL Ashford
software with no problem.
Also mentioned you need to use an LPD/LPR server on the PC to accept the
print request on port 515 and redirect them to the USB port. Mochasoft has
a nice, inexpensive LPD/LPR client. (www.mochasoft.dk)

Subject: Zebra LP2844

I have an LP2844 connected to my PC via USB and I am trying to get labels to
print on it from an RPG program. I generate the labels in one outq but when
I move the labels to this outq the wtr ends. I have also done an OVRPRTF
and it doesn't work that way either. Does anyone have this same scenario
that they could tell me what I have missed? We are on V5R4 and using EPL2.
This is how I have my outq and devd set up. TIA...
