Janice,

In excel you can use the upper() function to convert it to upper case. 

If you want to convert after the upload to the as400, you can run a pgm over
it using the %xlate function.

I am downloading data from Excel to a database file on the /400. The
data in one of the fields has lower case data. Is there a way to make it
upper case?
