Diana,

Which release are you using? AFAIK, until V5R3, this wasn't available (in the 
freeware world, at least). Bryan Dietz has a nice utility that can show you all 
the ODBC connections. You can find it at:

Also, there is an utility called SECTCP at www.easy400.net that can log all the 
FTP connections.

Is there a log on the system (AS/400, iSeries, System i) that shows the IP 
connections and what user is logged on to that connection regardless of the 
application service they are using (FTP, ODBC, 5250, etc.)?  Any information 
you can provide would be helpful.
