My recommendation would be to start here as RJS knows the i5 side of things
quite well:

Subject: Thinking about "paperless"

My boss would like us to look into our first "imaging" application.

As the starter project, he would like Purchase Requisitions/Purchase Orders,
and the related Packing Slips and Invoices all scanned in, Indexed, filed,
and available for RECALL and Drill Down.

I'm sure the software is the key productivity point here (whether home grown
or purchased), and I'm wondering what some of your good (and bad )
experiences have been in this area?
