Hi Doug
You should have 3 elements
the window subfile detail           SLFDTLREC
the window subfile ctl        SFLCTLREC
and a footer                  SFLFTRREC

Then in your source  just prior to EXFMT SFLCTLREC
you WRITE SLFFTRREC

c                       WRITE SLFFTRREC
c                 EXFMT SFLCTLREC

Would someone mind telling me how I can add a footer record to a windowed
subfile?  I have messed with this thing all night last night and cannot
seem
to get the footer record to display correctly.



In the DDS I have a windowed subfile defined, a windowed ctl record, and a
second window (acting as the footer record).  I have the overlay turned on
the CTL record, and at first it will display but then the footer record
goes
away...
