Charles,

This is a legacy system. 98% of the spool files are QSYSPRT files and a combination of 85 column and 132 column printing. I thought it would be much easier to attack it at one spot (the printer) rather than add ovrprtfs to hundreds of CL's and S/36 Env OCL. Unless I am missing something?

Thanks.

-Steve

Steve,

Having output rotated and shrunk when it doesn't need to be usually means that your printer file isn't
defined properly.

In other words, the printer file is defined as 132 columns, 60 lines. But in reality, only 80
columns are being used.

If you define your printer files correctly, you shouldn't have issues.

HTH,
Charles
