You asked to update ALL data columns in A
if a record is in B.

That _is_ kinda what I said but it wasn't what I meant <grin>

It seems that my original question went through an inadvertent edit and I
missed it. I originally typed "update non-blank/null columns in A ..."

I hadn't thought about coalesce ... Thanks Joe. Might even be worth setting
blank fields to null ... hmmmm
