iSeries Navigator is pretty good in this regard, though not perfect.
QSYS/QADB* xref files are probably the most accurate source.
QSYS2/SYS* SQL catalogue views are a level of abstraction on top of base
xref files.
Too bad there's no ER tool that covers all the intricacies of DDS & DDL
databases.

Regarding unique keys of DDS-described physical files: I know that unique
keys don't on their own have primary key contraints associated with them
(unless specified with the "add constraint" cmds you mentioned). But I
think they are candidates for primary keys, and it would be nice to have an
option to specify them as primary keys. Some tools don't even reverse
engineer the unique keys as unique keys, just as regular fields.
Where can I get info regarding where the unique key specifier, and
relationships between logical and physical are stored in QSYS (QADB
catalog)?
Thanks.
