Is there a way to set up the parameters of a SNDPGMMSG so it behaves exactly like an RPG DSPLY statement?

More specifically, so that it DOESN'T wait for the user to acknowledge before going on?

i.e.
An RPG DSPLY will bring up the "Display Program Messages" screen with the messageit generates, but unless you either ask for a response, or execute within PDM, it keeps on going.

If I do a
SNDPGMMSG MSG('Foobar') TOPGMQ(*EXT)
in a CL program, it waits for the user to press ENTER.
