Get a load of this... now we're a "legacy platform",
lacking in flexibility and scalability? I've gotten lots of
helpful and useful stuff from Search400 in the past, but
this sort of "marketspeak" is a good example of the negative
image that the System i community has to contend against.

We're not even legacy, we're now "mainframe". Leave it to Fujitsu (who as
far as I know actually still sell real mainframes) and Microsoft to try to
change the field by changing the terminology.

Anyway, this is the Midrange Alliance folks. Fujitsu and Microsoft at it
again. Like anybody involved in the "move to Windows" silliness, they talk
a good game (you have to talk a good game to sell snake oil). Remember that
briefly even iSeries Network was involved with these jokers.

I am a little disappointed in Search400, but they're basically a portal and
since portals live and die by traffic, I guess they can't turn anyone down.

Heck, they even offer a chapter of my WDSC book online for free to
registered members! <grin>
