Yes IBM used Piranha (remotely) on it.  Also some STRDBG against QDBOPEN 
or some such thing.
Turned out the problem was a damaged QUSRSYS/QAQQINI file.  Deletion of 
that file allowed DSPPFM, etc to work.
Now if I can just figure out why I am able to work away on this machine 
but the HMC is displaying a C2002450...
And, then compare ptf levels with another lpar to see what got fubared 
with the slip install of lic and os.
Take this note:  When "slipping the lic" I was reading Infocenter.  They 
already have tips in there for V5R4M5.  Like the new command:  DSPFMWSTS. 
Remember that recent email about how to check firmware status from green 
screen?  Lot easier than STRSST...
