Poppycock.  Whether cycle or non-cycle programming, it is the programmer 
that makes spaghetti code.  I've seen more than my share of that in 
Cobol programs, which doesn't have a cycle, as well as RPG III and IV 
programs that don't have a primary file defined. 

Level indicators and matching records make an RPG programmers job a 
whole lot easier in many cases - and have nothing to do with whether the 
program itself is structured or not. 

Somebody get the tar.  I've got the feathers, boys!
