Look at Robert's signature. If he belongs to a LUG, it would be one in
Alabama. In effect, he's going to get zinged twice: Once for having to join
the Nashville LUG to get the discount, and secondly, for paying rent on his
apartment in Nashville.

The rate difference applies to locals as well unless you belong to a local 
user group in the Nashville area.  If you do belong to a "currently 
active" local user group then your user group representative will give you 
a discount code that will offset the increased registration rate for not 
stating in the hotel.
