I agree... the IBM editor (I can't remember the name... EZ, maybe?) 
would work under VNC or even better under an Xserver.  (Sorry, but VNC 
is much slower and more awkward than a real Xserver -- I don't know why 
IBM keeps pushing VNC.)

However, I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about HMC or it's capabilities. 
I've never used one, I've never even seen one.  I have only the vaguest 
idea of what it does...  so I'm not the best person to answer the question.
