Make sure your Windows user name and password are the same as your
System i user name and password, or try changing your connection
properties to "use default user ID, prompt as needed" or "prompt
everytime".

Open up iSeries Navigator and under the "My Connections" node right
click on the server you are trying to connect to and select properties.
Then click on the connection tab to change your sign on information.
A google search of CWBSY1040 brings up a couple links for PFT's that
claim to resolve this issue.
