There is a .gif of a key next to the content link. A legend on the page suggests that the key icon "Denotes a password is required" to view the content. Try performing the search, instead of attempting to access the content with the direct link. When the content with the key icon is presented, the requester should be prompted for a user ID and password, and on that same signon page should be an option to create a user ID. HTH.
