Would it read:
.software for the AS/400, System i, iSeries, i5

I'd suggest:

software for the IBM System i (AS/400, iSeries, I5, i6, etc.)

To expand on this more, include the phrase above in your brochures, web
site and other marketing material. In training manuals and other
documentation, include the phrase above in the introductory section, then
switch to "System i" in later portion of the documentation.
