My non-scientific observation is that SQE performs better in most cases
(high 90s percentile).  In a lot of cases many orders of magnitude better.
Rather then rely on my observations, take a peek at "Preparing for and

See how existing queries even run better. I bet our resident SQL expert
Elvis can tell us how much better the SQE engine is over the CQE engine, and
guess which one QU2 uses, and guess which one QU1 uses.

	You can tell I am excited about this, as I have played with it,
and
it is definitely worth it.  I have never seen anything this good on the
AS/400, iSeries, or i5.
