On V5R3, I can't create a VIEW on an ALIAS over a member. Is this normal
behavior? Anybody think it will ever get fixed? I'm no big fan of members,
but there are lots out there in the real world and ALIAS is the easiest way
to access them.
However, it looks like VIEW won't let me get at them (which also tells me
we're probably getting sent down the CQE execution path every time I look at
one).
If you do a VIEW over a physical and then do an OVRDBF on the physical
before starting SQL, do you get the appropriate member?
