There are companies out there that will check to see if someone will buy
it, and if not, then will properly dispose of it for you. And they are
bonded to do that stuff. If you simply pitch it in the dumpster the EPA
(or some such group) may come after you for improper disposal of toxic
waste. Like lead solder, etc. Then again, if you give it to China they
have a thriving market to put that sort of stuff into kids toys.
