Chris,

I have a customer who needs this as well, although the additional 
requirement is that it be open source.  This customer has Formsprint but 
apparently has to pay extra for this feature.  Looks like there are a 
couple of open source options, GhostPCL being one of them (Formsprint 
generates a PCL formatted file I guess).  I was hoping to find something 
in Java although this article 
(http://www.mysiriuszone.com/content/view/452/662/) seems to indicate 
that GhostPCL would be a PASE possibility.  I'd have to figure out how 
to get the spool file into a format that GhostPCL would recognize as 
PCL.  Don't know (yet) if it is as simple as just copying the file or not.

I poked around in JT400 and looked at a few other options but still came 
up dry. I'll be interested to see what else gets posted in response.
