You know, I believe the Memo to Users, or was it the Software Installation
Guide, recommends capturing performance data before, and after, the
upgrade so that when you call IBM about this you don't just answer "it
seems". Also, it lets them know if the big difference is disk or
something else so that they can look at it.
Might be a little late now for this, but it will be a lesson burned into
you deeply.
