And that's where PDM options come into play. Option AC:

CPYF FROMFILE(&L/&N) TOFILE(QTEMP/&N) FROMMBR(*ALL)
TOMBR(*FROMMBR) CRTFILE(*YES) FROMRCD(4294967288) TORCD(4294967288)

High number for record numbers should keep each To file empty. Just point
WrkObjPDM to your source library and put option AC (or whatever you want to
use) in each file's option. If you want all of the physical files, you can
filter them down and then place AC in the first and F13 to fill it to the
end.
