You could follow the detailed instructions that are sent with all
new boxes !!!(just kidding)

The 525 I installed back in May didn't have a single scrap of
information on how to do anything. I found that pretty amazing
considering this was a $50,000 box. Setting up the tcp/ip proved
to be the biggest pain. I was very lucky that the box was ordered
with a twinax console, so I could at least key the commands in
to setup tcp/ip.

Since this is a new box, you are also able to call software support
and that can speed things up quite a bit.

Well, I've gotten my 515 up and running using LAN console. Now I'd like to
configure TCPIP so I can connect it to my network.

I'm finding it a little tricky. I know I have to create a line description
first (CRTLINETH). But varying it on fails. So I have a feeling I'm
missing something. As usual, trying to find help online is fruitless.

I have two ethernet lines according to my WRKHDWRSC... CMN03 and CMN04. If
I use CMN03 when creating the line descripon I get an error CPD27D0.

If I used CMN04 it goes to vary on pending, the errors out (where to find
the error for this I'm not sure, but no jobs start under the line when I
vary it on).

Anyone have a "cheat sheet" or information on getting networking up? Keep
in mind, I am using LAN console at the moment so that may be part of the
issue.. maybe one device is for that?
