I strongly recommend that you avoid the Dave Leland SNDEMAIL code. It does not handle binary attachments properly. It does not do CCSID translation properly. These things can cause major problems, depending on what sort of data you send.

Use SNDM or MMAIL -- both are free.

Or write your own using JavaMail, QtmmSendMail or sockets.

Please search the archives for the other 800 bazillion times this has been discussed.
