I should have said "better at handling Javascript" rather than just 
"better".

I haven't used Outlook extensively, but I agree wholeheartedly that 
Notes really awful. I'd say it's the worst I've used, and I've used all 
of KMail, Evolution, Thunderbird, GMail and pine with some level of 
regularity.
