You know, unless you're running on hardware that is at end of life and
will remain there forever, I would upgrade to V5R4M5 instead of V5R4M0.
This would help avoid some situations with Power 6 hardware.
We have the downtime from hell coming up where we have to upgrade 3 lpars
from V5R4M0 to V5R4M5 before we upgrade our 570 from Power 5 to Power 6.
Then we will be removing two of our towers. And move the load source
drives from two of the lpars from the Power 5 CEC to this other thingy.
Prior to that we are moving off of all of our several IXS cards to Blade
Center (as IBM dropped support for a vast majority of IXS cards once you
go to Power 6).

I've warned the analysts that they had better be darned sure that they
have the static libraries not included in Mimix copied over to the backup
lpar because if this goes wrong (what, with Murphy slapping me constantly
lately) there's a possibility that we'll be on the backup machine longer
than just the weekend.
