I don't think Access is a one-for-one comparison with SQL server. Back in
the day, when I used Access it seemed a lot more point and click and I
don't think it had the ability to export the SQL definitions. Then again,
it's been so long that my knowledge of that has faded and my knowledge of
SQL increased.

If Access did have an sql interface and it did have access to JDBC then
I'd be inclined to figure out how to initiate a connection to the System i
and do a
CREATE TABLE mylib.mytable as (
select *
from MyAccessTable)
with data
