Okay, this is contradictory to the information i've received from my
bosses, but i'm assuming that you know more about that than them :)
But here's a big question:
Why does this not work easier?
If you want to test WS2008, you just click on this link:
(very long, sorry)
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/info.aspx?na=90&p=&SrcDisplayLang=en&SrcCategoryId=&SrcFamilyId=8f22f69e-d1af-49f0-8236-2b742b354919&u=http%3a%2f%2fdownload.microsoft.com%2fdownload%2f1%2f5%2f7%2f157cc83e-9fa8-45b6-939b-dab2e82b7221%2f6001.17119.071210-1916_amd64fre_Server_en-us-KR1SXFRE_EN_DVD.iso
If you went to test V6R1, you have to jump through hoops, send mails,
wait for physical media, try to organize an old machine capable of
running V6R1 very slowly, etc.
Another big downside:
http://www.google.com/search?q=download+windows+server+2008
First hit -> WS 2008 RC1 Download
http://www.google.com/search?q=download+v6r1
Lot's of useless hits.
