We now have a small, simple, Java web service that responds to GET requests by serving up pages (well, actually just single lines of pure text, rather than HTML documents) created on the fly by an RPG program.

It took less than a week to get it serving what it needed to serve, and it's completely dynamic, serving data that's calculated.
