Now I've discovered that many of the SI* family of PTFs for Daylight
Savings Time deal with Java and say they're immediate by have "special"
instructions. Like making sure nothing appears running in DSPJVMJOB.
Which, on a development lpar with little, if any, internal use of java,
fills up a screen.
But further checking says all those special instructions are for a prereq,
SI22231. And we've had that PTF since, at least, it came out on cume
C6066540.
So I'll start applying these ptfs.
