There are some Redbooks on Operations Navigator - they are a few
years old, but a lot of the functions are still around.

I just went to www.redbooks.ibm.com and searched on "navigator AND
iseries" there's a ton of stuff there - lots of techotes. I just know
these exist - hate to say I've not explored them all yet.

Convert to PDF is great, AND that wizard will also
offer you to send the PDF as an email attachment.
Another alternative related to this functionality is
iSeries Access for Web; you can select a spool file,
convert to PDF and send it as an email attachment.
(Infoprint server is NOT required, but if you have it you
can spiff up your PDF with an advanced options
gizmo/widget.)
