In this case I got the information from the Rexx Standard (ANSI X3J18-199X).


As a shop convention, I explicitly state the REXX environment at the
beginning of the programs, to start in a known state.

Working on a new project with Rexx required me to mix command and SQL
environments, and I was experimenting with their interaction.

That's essentially what triggered my "learning experience". I have been writing some extensions to Rexx and wrote a test case that used Rexx and SQL.
