It's a quirk of human nature that we often see more nice comments about 
someone when they pass than we ever think to make while they're alive.  
I don't know whether Al would appreciate the irony, be embarrassed at 
the adulation or simply shrug it off, but I do hope that somebody thinks 
to mine all these wonderful tributes and put them in a Wiki page.
At while I might hesitate to create a repository of those who are no 
longer with us - I'm not fond of the entry requirement - if anyone 
deserves to be the charter member, I'd think it was Al.  After all, he 
was often the first to see a version of The OS That Has Been Renamed... 
why not the first to have his own "i Remember" (or is that "i 
Remembers") page?
