Eric,
I needed to run a C++ program installed on each desktop which acts as a
phone dialer.
With some help from the network security guys, I was able to create a
profile on the server and use that for my runrmtcmd. Works perfect.
Thanks for all the help.
Tim

Well, depending on your intent, you *might* be able to make use of STRPCO &
STRPCCMD. This is not supported on all TN5250 applications, and it only
works when a user is signed on to an interactive session. Can you say what
you are needing to accomplish?

I've tried that, but our network require authentication....
Any other suggestions?

If you hit F1 on the RMTUSER parameter, you will see that *NONE is an
option. It basically requires that you open the target PC to any command,
without password. I've done it before, but I wouldn't expect that anyone
with security concerns would cheer for this option.

Is there a way of using the runrmtcmd without having to supply the
rmtuser/rmtpwd.
I have to access several pc's and each have there own user/passwords.
Is there an easier way to do this?
