Because of spammers, scammers, phishers, and other such trash, yes, it
is necessary for people who run a mail server to take strong measures
against such crap.

But that's irrelevant to the discussion of YOU deliberately using an
email address in a domain to which you have no rights, unless you are
at the same moral level as the spammers, scammers, and phishers.

If you have no concern about the attempted delivery of crap, why don't
you just use a non-existent email address in your plutabrothers.com
domain?

Shoot, by your logic it would be just fine if EVERYONE used email
addresses in plutabrothers.com domain when they don't want to give
their own real email address; without regard to whether the user-id
part of it is real or not.
