For those of you that are doing one or more Data Warehouses/Data Marts/Operational Data Stores a few questions for now:

- Did you model your DW/DM/ODS?

- Do you tend to use the Bill Inmon or Ralph Kimbal architecture?
- Is your design truly dimensional (i.e., fact table/dimensions)? If not, what is your architecture?
- How many Terabytes is your DW/DM/ODS, not your raw data, your DW/DM/ODS?
- If dimensional, roughly now many rows in your fact and dimension tables?
- Do you use surrogate keys? If so, how did you come up with your key structure? If not, why not?
- Are you using an ETL tool or build it yourself? If the former, which one?

Perhaps more later.

Thanks,

Dave
