Visual Explain uses database monitor collection in the background so one of
the options on the File menu is "Save as SQL Performance Monitor..." which
really means preserve my database monitor file for reuse.
This is the best way to preserve it as you can re-explain it any number of
times you want.

If you want to see processing time instead of number of rows on the arrows
connecting individual elements, click on View-->Arrow labels-->Processing
Time.

I also always click on Options-->Graph Detail-->Full as well as
Options-->Attributes Detail-->Full.

Subject: How to save Visual Explain

Is there a way to save a Visual Explain graph, complete with the popups
that appear on hover, etc?

If you ran the multi hour SQL statement from heck, with Visual Explain
running, is there a way to see how long each step took?
