I just ran one on my system and it worked. 8 X 11 and here is the COMMAND String:

PDFSPLF STMF('/bruce/a.pdf')
        SPLF((FBA034TRV 891340/BACOLLINS/FBM030 000341))
        PAGESIZE(*KEEP)
