I've not done any 3 drive RAID setups on newer hardware. Last I knew that
was still a good thing to avoid. Four or more on a raid set is magnitudes
better. The only people who won't mind a 3 drive RAID setup is someone
who just migrated from a S/34 - they'll think a 3 drive raid set is
lightning fast.
