Our exit point tool provides an option to set this as well.
Programmatic interfaces have 'connection string' attributes that allow for
setting this as well.

All that said, most common case is that Allow Query Timeout is not unchecked
in the ODBC data source (DSN) under Performance-->Advanced (I wasn't clear
if that's the case from the original post).
