Connect the hosting mail server and run the following commands:
helo remotedomain.ext

mail from:youremail@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

rcpt to:emailaddresstotest

quit

But some mail servers verify the email address and other accept anything
but dump the message if the email is not valid. You really cannot
validate an email unless you send it and get a tracable reply.
