It seems that some vendor solutions are to have some program objects for
each version of their product.

MKS mentioned to me that some of the objects that showed up on the
report weren't needed at 6.1, however they still wish for them to remain
in the product.

If certain programs only run at V5R4 and certain ones run at 6.1, then I
would be happy to, as part of my upgrade plan, remove those programs
that do not run at 6.1 from the product.

After upgrading to 6.1, I do not want any programs that do not pass the
test on the system.

Which leads me to another point - new products would have to pass the
test at 6.1 before I would even consider using the product.

Vendors should clean up their product or at least notify us of the
programs no longer needed at 6.1 so that we can clean it up.

Thanks.
