IMHO - yes. But i doubt IBM would see it that way.

Running Unix Software on IBM i has the same level of stupidity like
running Unix Software on Windows.

There *IS* true platform independent software (Java) that can be used
to integrate well on any platform (IBM i, Windows, Linux, AIX, etc.).

That's why i don't get running MySQL/PHP on the i.
