Mixing of terminology from two different genre's confuses me.

Like "WRKLNK" and "folder" in the same section.

If you are truly able to get to the "directory" (not folder) using
WRKLNK '/QAWELD/NeedsRestored'
and not
WRKLNK '/QDLS/QAWELD/NeedsRestored'
Then the answer is you won't be able to restore that. Why? Because
SAVDLO only works in /QDLS. Instead, you simply use SAV. Not SAVLIB,
SAVDLO, SAVSYS... just SAV. And if you used SAV to save it, then RST
should restore it.
