No, you really don't, -unless- you did some other ftp subcommands between
bin and the put. Like ls or some such thing.
Hence the comment about belts and suspenders.

You do if the iSeries FTP server is set for library naming - or you can
use a cd / to force it. I did not use cd in my example.
